Waking up in a SPARKLY Vegas!

A recap of the Rock n Roll Vegas marathon weekend with Sparkly Soul!

My SPARKLY Las Vegas Love Pink Tank from Victoria’s Secret!

This past weekend Sparkly Soul traveled to Vegas for the Rock n Roll Marathon and Half Marathon!

We traveled down to Vegas on Thursday – and stayed at the Wynn Hotel!

It was super busy in the lobby/casino!  But after walking around to all the hotels, the Wynn was definitely my favorite. The first day we were there, we could barely find  the elevators to get to our room.  The place is a maze.  I loved how the lobby had all lights and a forest theme.  It was very pretty.

You figure out where you are going the longer you are there.  It was clean, polished and very nice place to stay.

The expo itself was perfect. Rock n Roll always puts on the BEST race expos and races – so I was really excited to check out all the vendors and to be there!

We had an great time and met so many sparkly/AWESOME ladies at the race expo.  We were able to chat with so many people in our sparkly boutique.  The two days at the expo flew by. We were also able to see alot of social media friends and faces – which was so fun!

We also loved seeing our friend and Elite Ambassador Dorothy Beal – who had a fantastic race! Go Dorothy!

And meeting our awesome Elite Ambassador Lisa Balash – Kettlebell Bombshell!

On race day – there was a half marathon, a marathon and a half of a half marathon! We were lucky enough to be right in the action staying at the Wynn. It was amazing to watch.  We loved seeing the sea of sparkle at night and seeing all the sparkly ladies we met run by! It was quite an awesome experience to see everyone running down the strip at night!  I hope to be able to run at least the half next year!

Shopping , Sparkle and Shows

The shopping there was also so fun! Being from NYC, I am pretty unimpressed by shopping because everything I love is in my backyard. I couldn’t believe that every store that I loved had a store right there on the Vegas strip and the mall there was amazing.  I loved walking around into all the different shops!

We also saw Rod Stewart in concert at Caesar’s Palace – he was awesome.

He puts on quite a show and has a great voice.  My phone died so I just managed to get the one shot above before it turned off!

And Caesar’s Palace is amazing – my favorite part was the room with the ceiling painted with clouds and all the statutes of the gods!

Even though I was sick – we managed to run for about 30 minutes each day we were down there.  The weather was beautiful (high 60s, low 70s) and it was fun to run around and see the sites of Vegas! I was just getting over a cold so I decided not to sign up for the Half Marathon. Plus I had not run since the NYC Marathon and wanted to take a break.

Congrats to all those that ran Vegas Rock n Roll and to everyone who raced this weekend!
